Our focus has always been on making the best decisions, either through our consulting advice or by making information tools available to assist you in your decision-making. Years ago, when we started the business, the internet was not in general use, e-commerce was unknown. It is just coincidental the name e-dec has the e-business form. Perhaps the world is following in our footsteps.

These cover developing a business plan and using it to manage your business, calculating and using the cost of capital, valuing a business interest, strategy for purchasing or selling a business, carrying out due diligence, and negotiating a business purchase or sale.

e-dec consulting services cover strategy, business planning, organizational design, compensation and accountability systems, pricing and marketing as well as business valuation and advice on business purchase and sale. Our market areas are Australia, New Zealand and the United States. Our clients are in the manufacturing, services, financial, aerospace, energy and government sectors.

e-dec CEO is Dr Edward A Hudson. Ed Hudson has a PhD from Harvard University and is internationally recognised for economic modelling and applying economic technology to financial, business and policy decisions. The e-dec professionals have backgrounds in economics, finance, management and computer science.

e-dec is located in Wellington, New Zealand. Although this location might at first appear distant, we have found it presents few problems - we are in instant contact with our clients by telephone and e-mail, and to visit clients we can be in Los Angeles, Sydney or Auckland tomorrow morning.
